Make your own lace card spool from cereal boxes, make them big or small.
Cardboard cereal boxes are ideal for this handy little project. Lace card spools can hold enough lace for one signature, or go crazy and wrap as much on them as you like.

Or you make them as a ribbon spool holder to tidy up your storage bin. If you use the inside of the cereal box, you get a nice-looking finish. Glue on tea dyed paper and stamp your favourite design on top.
Packaging ideas put one or two in with the next happy mail you send out, with a precious piece of vintage lace just enough to sew down one page.
